Listening to music can be a great way to relax while you are lounging in the sun, motivate you to complete a physical activity during an adventure holiday, or something to do while getting ready for a fun night out in a new city.

No matter what you are hoping to do during your break you will often find that having some of your favourite tunes to hand will help you to have an amazing time, so here we share tips for how to create the perfect holiday playlist.

Find a great music app

Creating your holiday playlist will be so much easier if you find a great music app that is easy to use and gives you access to as many songs and artists as possible. Spotify and iTunes are two of the most popular apps to use as they offer a massive range of music and make creating a playlist a fun experience.

Be picky with your song choices

You may absolutely love a particular artist but all of the best holiday playlists have a great mix of music, by choosing loads of songs by one artist you are just going to end up with a playlist that has very little variety and may get a bit boring after a while. By all means start with a few songs by your favourite band or singer but then move onto similar songs from there.

Mix it up

There are no rules when making your holiday playlist, so you can add in a whole mix of genres that you love but may not usually hear in the same place or one after the other. This variation will add some extra fun to your holiday as you just won’t know what to expect next, and this is ideal no matter when you decide to press play!

We hope that these tips help you to create your perfect holiday playlist, and if you still need to decide where to listen to these tunes why not browse through our impressive brochure selection and see what takes your fancy?
