Disneyland Paris is not only the ultimate destination for children; it is great fun for adults too!
So whether you are looking for your next family break, to head off somewhere fun as a couple, or somewhere where you can have an amazing time with friends, Disneyland Paris could be the place for you!
Located twenty miles east of Paris, Disneyland is easy to reach by car and you can also choose to take the train or go on a coach to get there. Since 2002 it has been made up of two parks as this is when the Walt Disney Studios Park was built alongside the existing Disneyland Park which has been there since 1992.
In addition to the two theme parks, Disneyland also boasts plenty of restaurants, shops and other entertainment options in its Disney Village, and has number of hotels for guests to stay in, plus a golf course too!
The five most popular rides are It’s a Small Word which is a musical boat ride, Space Mountain which is a space themed rollercoaster, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters where people can shoot at aliens using lasers in order to get points.
There are ride options for both adrenaline junkies and those who prefer a less scary experience, including classic spinning teacups and a carousel, so the selection really does cater for the whole family.
Perhaps an activity that is more suited to children, Disneyland also offers character experiences where you can meet a whole range of characters, such as the Disney Princess, Mickey Mouse and even Darth Vader, for photo and autograph opportunities.
If you choose to have breakfast at the Plaza Gardens Restaurant you will be joined by some of the characters then too, so you can have fun with them while tucking into an American style buffet, the perfect way to prepare you for a busy day of running around the parks.
So if you haven’t been to Disneyland Paris before, or feel like it is time for another visit, we strongly recommend taking a look at a brochure and adding some Disney magic to your year.
