As the days start to get shorter we all want to pack our bags and head somewhere a little bit warmer before the Christmas season is upon us, but where are the best places to travel to for winter sun in November?

Here we look at a few destinations where the sun will be shining as the temperatures drop at home.

Marrakesh

Marrakesh in Morocco is a mere 4 hour flight away from the UK which makes it ideal for those who don’t want to head too far away in their hunt for a hot holiday in November. With a maximum temperature of 22°C throughout the month you’ll find that it is pleasantly warm but comfortable enough to be able to explore all that this fascinating destination has to offer.

Tenerife

Another hot holiday destination closer to home is Tenerife which can be reached with a 4 and a half hour flight. With maximum temperatures of 21°C it may not be the warmest option but it’ll certainly feel balmy compared to the wintery days and nights that will be taking over the UK.

Florida

Slightly further afield is the aptly names ‘Sunshine State’ of Florida. The temperatures here rarely dip below the 20s and in November you can expect it to reach around 27°C which is ideal regardless of whether you are heading to its famous beaches or its very popular theme parks.

Dubai

Due to its desert location you’ll find that Dubai is always a hot option for a holiday, but going during the winter months is certainly the best idea if you want to explore as you’ll find this far more enjoyable in 31°C heat that you would in the summer when it reaches a very humid 40°C.

Bali

Our most far flung November winter sun option is Bali, but if you’re looking for a longer holiday and don’t mind flying to the other side of the world you will be rewarded with a gorgeous country, fantastic hospitality, and temperatures averaging 33°C. Although you may experience rain in Bali during November it will be short, sharp showers that pass over quickly.
